Pat
Pat Ohta is someone I met briefly, yet knew of and respected, but our paths rarely crossed.He was among the early pioneers in Hawaii for hosting concerts featuring 'alternative' music,
and in high school, he and some friends created the popular 'Iron Cross' metal/punk fanzine...
He recently expressed an interest in getting back into music and his help was immediately welcome!
One Saturday afternoon we took some time to hang out at the Jelly's in Aiea and just talked story.
...it turns out he also had a bunch of photos from those early days and offered to share them here.
He's not a photographer like most of our other contributors so he doesn't have a website, but
we wanted to be sure to give him credit for taking, saving, and now posting his collection.
